Terms and Conditions

Approval of a quotation that includes a materials provision assumes agreeing to the materials charges. 

In these instances, City Handyman has factored the materials acquisition time and material costs into the quotation and will in most instances pre-purchase the correct required materials  prior to the commencement of works for your project. Should you purchase your own materials to be used as part of a City Handyman quotation after you approve the quotation without notifying City Handyman prior to commencement of works, our quoted price including the materials charges will be payable. 

A cancellation fee of $95 may apply if 48 hours notice is not given in writing via email to: info@cityhandyman.com.au. Notice is required if you are not able to be present (or have a suitable contact person present or access available) for the mutually agreed and pre-set scheduled time for City Handyman to commence works.  

City Handyman will always seek to park for free however if we need to pay to park a City Handyman vehicle to do a job, these parking costs will be directly passed on to the client and will form part of the invoice for the works, listed as a separate item. Parking charges only include meter or street machine parking or parking houses such as Wilson Parking, Secure Parking etc.  

City Handyman services a broad scope of real estate, residential, and commercial cliental therefore payment terms vary. Minimum terms are 2 Days from Invoice Due Date. 

Payment is due by the Invoice Due Date.
You will receive automatic payment reminders. 

FAILURE TO PAY: A $50.00 late fee (to cover admin costs) will be added to invoiced amounts if remaining unpaid beyond 10 DAYS from the DUE DATE, and processes to recover the debt will commence. In the event that City Handyman incurs third party costs in attempting to recover any overdue amounts from the client, those third party costs will be added to the debt owed by the client. Third party costs include legal costs incurred on a solicitor-client basis, costs charged by a debt collection agency and related court costs.

We welcome credit card payments and accept EFT transfers.

Additional or extra works completed outside any quotation items will be charged out at standard rates below:

• $88 inc GST per hour, plus call out fee (where applicable) of $88 inc GST
• This rate is for one handyman only and excludes materials, tip fees and parking charges (if applicable).
