We charge by the hour or by the job. Prices vary based on the City Handyman Division. Job prices will vary based on time and materials, and we take pride in honest estimates and accurate quoting.
We try to gather as much information as possible via online methods.
For pricing requests for jobs smaller in nature, we will provide the estimated time needed to complete at the given rate, therefore estimating a job cost. We can discuss where practical, the finer details when on-site, with regards to working to a budget or finish level.
We conduct site visits/consultations for larger Project works and provide written quotations.
The various divisions have different price points due to skill level and tool and material requirements

Assembly of a dining table and 4 x chairs may cost in the vicinity of $95 - $115
Preparation and patching of a slightly scuffed medium sized bedroom wall, with 4 x small picture hook holes, and painting over with 2 x coats using digitally colour matched paint, sourced and matched by the City Handyman Team may cost in the vicinity of $395 - $495. The price would include callout, labour and all required materials. Any excess paint is left on-site for future touch up work. With these types of small patch and paint jobs, we can also offer spot painting of plaster repairs, rather than full wall painting, however we always advise that the new freshly applied paint to the filled areas, may be slightly noticeable when surrounded by the remainder of the wall.
